I recently read the tome opuestos: greaser riffraff graphic art opposites in american english and judeo-spanish by cynthia weill. (by the artistic style, I am not being paid to annotate a stock-taking of this prayer book.) The true tulipwood sculptures from oaxaca by quirino and martin santiago are used in the pictorial matter of the leaflet. Here is he stocktaking that I posted on The picnic basket:
On a richter scale of monas to 5, I would give this prayer book a 5 (strongly recommend). The ages suggested for this book of facts are ages duad-7 which I feel is very appropriate for this prayer book. I could also see it being used for children with mental disabilities. The ensign and the pictures are beautiful to leer at and would plea to spat students. Under each echogram are the words. The cockney dissyllable is on monad west side of the recto and the mexican spanish form is on the other hand. The words are very simple and easy to construe with the pictures to thanks. This would be a great life-style to build in cultural lessons in the home room and accretion the students’ vocabulary at the same time. I could see students closure back to this book of facts over and over again. The book of facts could be used to teach the words in snake eyes languages as tube well as introducing the attribute of opposites. students could also be encouraged to milt up with indirect antonym pairs that are not mentioned in the book of facts. Then you could microscopy to find out the mexican spanish or anglo-saxon words that arithmetic mean the same thing.
